Took one out of a 93 last night. It's easier to remove with seats out of the way, but should be possible with them left in.
1. Pop out oval shaped caps at top rear sides of console. Behind these caps are 2 bolts on each side that take an 8mm socket. When these bolts are out, you can lift out the arm rest.
2. Remove 4 phillips head screws in cupholder, and remove cupholder.
3. Under cup holder are 2 phillips head screws in that hold the front of the console. Remove these, and 1 at the top where the arm rest came out. Now you should be able to remove console.
4. The mounting brackets are held to the floor by nuts that take 10mm socket, 2 on the front bracket, 4 on the rear bracket.
