My 99.5 is off the shop next week for the bellowed up pipes. The guy has a good reputation around here. I'm capable of doing the job but there is no way I can do it in 4 hours which is what he is quoting.
My question is: Wastegated kit or not? looking to upgrade the turbo while it is down. I'm looking at the kit from Beans with the ebpv delete. but since it comes either way just the wastegate cost extra.
Give me a few pros and cons while there is time to order.
thanks in advance.
I don't know who to rep first but the fix it directions on the overhead lie-o-meter were invaluable. At least 400 bucks worth.

Worth $400 absolutely, I fixed mine too as far as the rep, I don't know who wrote that one up.
What is the question? He did not say which turbo upgrade he is looking at. There is a WG for a reason, but not all setups necessarily need one. Need more info.

I think he wanted to know if the wastegate was needed. I just bumped this for him Mike. lol
The kit I'm looking at is the (BDP 1.0 Housing kit Price: $299.00) It comes with a 1.0 housing, a WW or whatever Beans call their version and the exhaust adapter. I only tow moderately heavy loads and have no particular plans to boost the power other than replace the Bully Dog 4 bank for a DP.
