I know this issue has been argued before. I went to a junkyard where I knew they had a '78 Ford truck. I was looking for the metal radio bezel and knew of this truck, but did not know what type of radio it had.
Got to it yesterday and was disappointed the bezel was plastic. As I looked at it in disbeleif, I noticed the radio was a cassette player. I posted a pic of it in my gallery. I do not know how to post a pic on a message.
I beleive the radio wasn't factory. It is the same size as a factory of that era. Same wiring plug in, yet the antenna cable is different. It is an Audiodek 3014, which I assume is an audio aftermarket company much like Kenwood, Pioneer, Claron etc.. It does have the two dials for volume and tone, balance and tune. One button for fast foward or eject. Another button for AM or FM. A last button for LOC and/or OX? Whatever that is?
The warning, voltage, company and wiring colors are on it, but a bit damaged.
I have no use for it. I decided to take it to show the boards. I will ebay it or pm me if you're looking for one.
