Core Support Differences?

Core Support Differences?
Hey I am still hunting a donor truck for a diesel conversion and I understand I will need the radiator and core support from the donor truck. My truck is a '91, can I use the core support from an 83-86 truck? Or one from a 92-96? Or is the 87-91 unique? Thanks for any help, just wanting to know what I can get from the donor truck and what will have to come extra if I get one that is not 87-91 like mine.

I had to go through the same thing when I did my Cummins conversion. I had a rad and core support for the 351 rad that was in the truck. I had to find a new core support (87-91 only) and a radiator. There were 2 radiators in these years of trucks they put on the Diesels a 37" wide and 41" wide I believe. I needed the narrow one so that my intercooler tubes would fit around it.

Well, you are close, if you use a 80-86 front clip the the fender lips on the existing bed are not going to match with the fronts. But I don't want to change front clips, I like the way my truck looks now.
