Its gonna be a couple months for the 429 to be finished. I just finished porting the heads and Im takin them into the machine shop tomorrow to get the valves worked on.

I heard this on the diesel forum a while back, but pretty sure it's a myth.

The way that I understand it that is that Ford owns no direct part of Cummins. That is not to say that they don't own a company that owns a part of Cummins. Also not sure but I think in the past they did own a part, directly but am not sure about that.
