1990 5spd
I found a 1990 F150 extended cab with 4x4 and a 302. What I was wondering if I can do is to take and pull the body off the frame and hook up a 5.8L to the truck?? Could I turn it into a fuel injected version with the 302 wiring and harness?? I currently have a 5.8L 85 extended cab truck and I want the 5.8L and the 4x4 would be nice too. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The shortest and easiest solution is to take the 5.8 out of your '85 and put it into the '90 replacing the 5.0. You'll need a 5.8 EFI intake and dsitributor and a 5.8 computer, but the 5.0 wiring harness and accessories can be reused. You also need to figure out what tranny is in the '90 because you need to get the right flexplate or flywheel for the 5.8/tranny combo.
