Dump kit

I am looking for a dump bed kit for my 04 F250 short bed. I have a Venco kit in my 86 F2508' bed which works great but they don't make it for the short bed. Does anyone know of a company that makes a good kit for a short bed? power up and power down? This is not for show so no cheap junk I work these trucks. Thanks

not to sound to goofy, but if your working these trucks means using a dump kit on a stock pick up, your not working them too hard since factory boxes are too flimsey for any real dumping duties, not to mention stuff getting hung up in front of wheel wells. if you use these for serious work, either look for a dump insert from truck craft, ez dump, or downeaster...or best case scenario, get s small dump trailer depending on intended use. I bought a dump truck (just 1T dump) for my construction biz, as well as a dump trlr...i entertained a dump conversion for about 5 mintues until i read all the posts from landscapers that tried them and hated them since they were twisting their pick up boxes, and spending time shoveling and sweeping out the material hung up in front of wheel wells. not to mention having to jerry rig the gas filler and losing ability to retain a factory style hitch since rear bumper gets welded to truck bed so it rotates with it.

so leave these for the show guys, if you really use your truck for work and making money, using a trailer has to be thrown in the mix somewhere too i'd guess...not being able to retain a factory style hitch set up, your on borrowed time before something bad happens since using a bumper to tow anything is a ****ing joke.

I have had the setup in my 15 years love it. Irun mulch and stuff to the dump and have had 3 yards of sand and wet dirt on that truck with no trouble. This new truck will also be my personal truck so I don't want the insert nor the dump trailer. IOn mt 86 I moved the hitch back on the frame and ma a extention, works great. When I was looking for the 86 kit there were kit that were only ment for show. The Venco is a heavier setup. Just looking for any companies that make the tp fit short beds.

I have actually looked into this one before. It utilizes an insert that lifts not the factor bed.
