Build Date

How does a person determine the build date for their SD? Can you get it from the VIN? Or do you need acess to a Ford computer?, Thanks, Dave.

Doesn't it say it on the door VIN sticker?

Mine shows a date: 09/02 (upper left corner of sticker)

You can not determine the build date with just the VIN alone, as you suspect you would also need access to the Ford system...
