Is there a min Windshield hight in Texas?

How much chop do most of you guys do?

I've seen as much as 6" cut out. Not sure what the legal height is. I'm about to take 5'' out of my 50f1.

i sure would like to know before i cut to much out and can't drive it...I might just go with a 10" Windshield, but i would love to have a mail slot...lol
