Worked on the Side Vents

I dove in this mornin and decided to change up my side vent colors, I was tired of the nasty red inserts. After I painted mine my buddy Sak decided to do his the same. The inserts are different colors but the old chrome parts are the same. This cost a wopping $20.

Where the side vents a pain to take out or where they straingt forward

Looks good....I did mine as well. I did the flat at first, then had that taken off and went with gloss...both look great IMO....as for taking them off, pretty easy I thought...a towel, and a flat screwdriver...and some patience so you dont scratch the paint.

I've got a buddy of mine who mills out custom badges.
I've got a set of 6.0L style door badges coming that say

==6.4L Diesel==
TWIN TURBO

He can do anything you want, including custom lettertin on fender badges.

Are they held in with Clips? Just bought a 2009 F-250 and I hate the red, but like the Chrome may just paint the red black

Texas started this thread over a year ago so those are old pictures. However I havent seen him post in while. Knowing him there are some more goodies on the truck that he needs to share with us.
