I have a 302 short block and heads. I got it from a kid who had a machine shop build put the block and heads together. He was building an english car but got smart and gave up.
Looks like they did a good job on the block and head. I am going to put it in my 78 f150. My problem is not sure what year it is and I need a flywheel for it. Here are the numbers off the castings.
I think its a 81 to 86 302 block. Probably out of a F 100 or 150. Be sure to check the clearances and torque values. You can find flywheels at the local junkyard and have them turned if its for a manual tranny. Be sure to use a new harmonic balancer to eliminate bad vibes.
Look under "need help identifing block". I posted a web site address that has all the block codes from 64-95. You should be able to find what you are looking for.
