With a DP, and my stage ones, I get better milage then I did with my truck stock, superchipped, and superchip stage 1 combo'd.

Granted, when I turn the tune up and lay into it, I can go through fuel. Only difference really is that I actually make power now doing it.

I get almost 18mpg gallon now with Jodi's 80hp econo tune.

Stock I barely ever broke 16.

Superchip and stage ones I was getting a sweet 8-10

Sorry, engineer here just telling it like it is. I think rolling coal is awesome!!! HOWEVER, until someone proves otherwise, technically it is WASTED POWER. Absolutely not Robb. I was in no way saying that you are "some jackass". No way man, I don't talk to my friends like that. I was refering to all the people that spout off about how I'm wasting my money, or that I'm crazy for doing that to my truck. And they don't understand a damn thing about diesels, or mechanics period. And I mean the people in my personal life, not here.

And like I said at the end of the post, you are 100% right. It's wasted energy and fuel. And really there is no good reason for it. I'm not denying that what so ever. But it makes me smile. Period. And until it quits making me smile, I'm gonna do it, and I don't really care what it costs.

And the last point I would like to make is this. Most people on here know the cause and effect of making smoke. Do they still want it, yeah. And we'll all be here to tell them how to get it, and what happens when they do. But I was not firing off at you Robb. You are ALWAYS aces in my book brother.

Fewf! Thanks for clearing that up Cody!!! I was worried for a second there!!! I remember when I first joined up here on FTE, you were one of they guys that took me under you wing (duck? wing? haha! ok not funny) and showed me the ropes!!! Just wanted to be sure I didn't upset one of my mentors! Now if I didn't have strep throat, I'd join you in having a drink!

Cody when the smoke doesn't make you smile any more that just means you need more fuel for more smoke!! Or just hit the go fast button and make the smoke disappear along with the car in your rear view! that will make you smile again!

Tim, I don't think I will ever stop smiling. And yeah, when the nitrous goes on Rockee, I'm moving up to probably a 150 or 200 shot. That should clear it up a bit. But what does make me frown is my EGT's. Wow! This thing is outta control. I gotta send my chip back to Jody, Pronto. I need to do that, and put the intercooler in. Just need time...
