What kind of assistance were you hoping to get with this kind of attitude?
All the wheels I have ever looked at had Metric Measurements... Thus I was expecting a response in metric... I did not receive that...
I was patient, I tried to keep the thread on topic. But after 30% of the replies were not related to my original post (ie. tires and wheels on other Fords) I began to get aggravated.
At this point I don't REMOVED BY ADMIN, no cussing care about it anymore. I have given up on any hope of getting some wheels for my van. If anything I am more moved to just drive my van off a cliff.
I have come here for help before and I got helpful and relevant responses... But that didn't happen this time... Did I expect too much? I mean is it always going to be like this?
Any rim off of a Mustang, Crown Vic, Grand Marc, Towncar, Bronco II, Ranger, Explorer, B-series, Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee, will work.
Luckily Ford put their standard 5-bolt pattern for small vehicles on the Aero.
I may not know the exact offset, but what was said here holds true. Any rims off these vehicles or intended for these vehicles will work perfectly. I did not intend to change the topic, I was just making sure you were aware of issues with changing the rim size. I would avoid the Jeep wheels, because there are occasional fitment issues with them.

We did answer your question,
I am thinking about getting some custom wheels for my Aersotar...
That question is vague. Custom wheels are any wheel that did not come from the factory on an Aero, so my Explorer Rims on my Aero are Custom Wheels. Most members that come on here and ask about rims are looking for cheap replacements, not $2000 worth of bling.
As for my response, (if you actually took the time to think about it) every aftermarket rim site lists wheels for the Ranger/Explorer because those are more popular trucks than the Aero. Instead of trying to find rims specific for the Aero, try those vehicles, and when you find a set you like, buy them, they will fit the Aero sense the bolt pattern and offset are near identical.
As for your attitude, It would be greatly appreciated if you did not use foul language and get upset at some of the old timers here that tried to help a noob out in the Aero world.

I am thinking about getting some custom wheels for my Aersotar... but I need to know about the OEM wheel width, offset (back spacing), bolt pattern, and hub bore... Does anyone know this information? I have tried searching for it but I have come up with nothing...
We assumed you knew the Aerostar is kin to the Ranger & Explorer & shares most of the wheel hubs & brakes, etc. Well now you do. When you find listings for Ranger / Explorer it is pretty much ditto for Aerostar. They share some basic powertrains too (engine & tranny).
Here in the USA we still use inches. Though some places list these wheels as 114.3, they were originally 5 X 4.5 inches. Same size regardless of how it's written.
Please don't say No one has really answered my original question yet. So far we've given you the Aerostar's "OEM wheel width, back spacing, bolt pattern, and hub bore." which you asked for. Plus we added helpful & useful info also.
You can do the math and subtract 4.5 from 6 and get the offset. Or figure what percentage of 6 is 4.5.
The offset alone won't guarantee a wheel will fit though if you change from the original wheel diameter or, more importantly, the original rim width.
