i used to own a 1994 ranger supercab 4.0 v6 auto, before i pulled some too-heavy trailers and put 238,000 miles on it, it would get about 18-20 miles per gallon. i had to sell it, not able to drive due to a medical restriction, and it was starting to have problems, and only getting about 14 miles per gallon.
parents helped me get a 2000 f150 that was a good deal from someone my dad worked with. i only need a full size so i can tow my herbie the love bug replica to car shows, etc. Herbie is still a ways away, so i'm looking for a single cab 4 cylinder ranger with stickshift. I wanted a splash series, but the supercab was a good buy back in 96.
ok, so i ran across a 94 white single cab splash, but it has a 4.0 v6 stick with 50,000 miles.
what kind of gas mileage would a 4.0v6 stick in a single cab get? i'm gonna keep looking for a 4cyl, but if not much of a difference, i might check into it.
Yeah, it won't do bad with a manual tranny and only being 2-wheel drive. With only 50,000 miles on it, I would ****** that puppy up, the splash is cool!!!!!!!
