looking at an 88 f150 4x4 302 5 speed gonna be my daily driver very clean sitting on 31" bf/all terrains 170,000 km what should i be cocerned about please.

Rust... it's murder on old trucks.

A test drive will tell you the rest, how well it runs and stops, steers and takes the bumps. Rattles, bouncing, weaves or wobbles are all signs issues, some may be an easy fix but some are not.

now I found the same truck with a 4.9 in it decissions it will be a daily driver
