I did something real stupid, I was checking for blown fuses in the dash box after the cig lighter quit working. I pulled and reinstalled them one by one. I noticed not all the spaces had fuses and knew I needed to be careful in those areas. Well, Murphy got me. I pulled a fuse (7.5 amp) from either # 35 or #36 slot and couldn't remember which one it came from. I stuck it back in the #35 slot and haven't noticed anything that don't work yet, but need to know what the fuses are for so I can make sure. If all else fails I'll get a 7.5 and put in the other slot just to be safe.
Still didn't get the lighter working. No blown fuses there . Are there any under the hood that will affect the lighter operation ?
The lighter fuse is#17, 25 amp in the underdash fuse panel.
#35, 7.5 amp is a rear blower motor fuse.
#36 7.5 amp feeds; auto temp control module, mirror autolamp sensor, driver's seat module, left front pwr seat switch, and message center.
