Good Morning folks!

Well I'm done with the mechanical restoration of my 1984 6.9 IHC and it's time to start on the interior. I'm interested in hearing from others on replacing the front sliding bench with independently sliding bucket seats with a center console /jump seat.

Anyone know the specific years whose bolt patterns and sizes would fit my truck? I was kind of hoping to be able to buy a complete front off a junker and just pop it in with out much fuss after I replace my carpets.

Anything 1980 to 1996 should work fine. You will probably need to drill the center holes, but the outer holes should line right up.

 

It's not a bolt in deal. The bucket seat trucks had extra panels where the seats bolted down which was not the same location as the factory bench. I put '90 buckets and a center console in my '85. I just set the seats and console where I wanted them and drilled new holes. I used the largest, thickest washers I could find to help re-enforce them. If you were to find a 40/20/40 power bench with the console from a newer truck, that should bolt in.
