Thumbs up What have you done to your truck today (or recently)

I know that there is a similar thread in each model's repective sections, but I figured that the Montana Chapter could use one so here it goes:

I recently rebuilt the 351M out of my truck and reinstalled it. Also put in a new seat, ignition switch and tumbler, rebuilt front cv and rear drive shafts, new steering gear box, and new radiator. Im sure I forgot something but more to follow....

Interior Lights and 2 Gauge pillar mount addition. Also waiting for these to come in the mail: Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye Lights
One of the fog lights by my licence plate in my pic went out so I took them back on warranty. Added another $42 to the $20 I got back. Figured its time for an upgrade. The halo (angel eyes) should look pretty sweet as well.

Will Post pics when installed.

Oh ya, I cant forget the new airbag replacement sticker I got. Gotta be safe.

Yup, looks sweet even over here. That sticker made me spit out my mountain dew and pee myself when I read it.

Haha will do. It has worked out a couple times before but that was before the sticker. Maybe it'll happen more often?

Do it! That truck turbocharged would be sick. And BTW, for our chapter leader that is doing a project, you really should be posting pics of your progress. We wanna see !!

The most expensive improvement I've made lately was filling up the fuel tank!
Tomorrow I'm hoping to begin the install of an onboard air system to be followed up with airbags on the rear. As soon as it arrives, I'll be trying to find a convenient clean location for a new Cobra CB also.

I thought about that the whole time I have been working on this. All that I have is a crappy cell phone for taking pics. Hey Brit, do you have a digital camera??

Hey RedNNBlue,

I don't believe we have met so let me say hi and nice truck!

Please keep us posted on the progress with the airbags. I thought about adding a set or rear airbags to mine so I would like to see someone else go through it first.

Does convenient and clean ever go hand in hand?? Let us know how you like the cb when you get around to installing it. I would like to get one for when I finally am able to take the rig offroading.

Of course I do, Cor. You should def be taking pics, I'll help ya out!

I haven't done squat Bryce, although I did attempt to take my carburetor off but had to call Corey to save me... my lack of tools is really becoming an issue.

Ya I understand that. Having the right tools for the job is half the battle. I hate it when I'm half way in and realize I need a tool that I dont have. Good job for saving her Corey. And if you have a digital camera, why haven't you contributed to the new thread?!
