140 smoke is awesome...i'm prolly gonna need a bigger turbo to utilize it's full potential it's almost snowing here so my bud didn't wanna come out and play....i've never side drifted a f 350 crew cab before on pavement
so i have a hard time not touching stuff...can you play with the OBA or is it best just to leave it alone?

Brian
Brian, leave the OBA like it came. They set it before they send it to you.
What's the purpose of the 140 smoke? I'm very interested in one but see no need for anything but the 80E and somekind of blow the doors off of a Dodge setting, the more horsepower the better. But why all the smoke, is that not just a waste of fuel?

I had the Big Oil tunes BEFORE I installed Big Oil. It used to smoke when you hit it hard. Now it doesn't. Still, why the smoke? Well, when you pass someone who pissed you off, you don't want to take your hand off the wheel to give them the finger. So you smoke them instead.
Mark, the 140 smoke is a high power tune that most of us can not use all it has to offer. Because of our HPOP limit we can't keep up with the psi the injectors need to fire that fast. It dumps lots of fuel at the beggining and it dumps it out of the tail pipe as black smoke. Yes it is a waste of fuel, but some stupid people need to know what it smells and looks like. Ever have someone tailgate you? They will back off.

I thought about not gettin the 140 smoke.....But after talkin to Jody I changed my mind....1 it gives me sumptin to build to...2 it has more power out of the hole for short exhibitions of massive power...3 I know a couple of Richard Crainiums that i'd like to fill there ricers with this summer with BLACK SMOKE
Thanx millerfeed....I finally read the directions after the install....no benefit to adjusting...
Has anyone here ran their truck in the 1/4 in the 120 setting, and then tried the 140 with the smoke setting and compared the numbers? I could probably like the smoke setting if it makes more horsepower and know that I have it there to use if I feel like it. Like when fuel price's go back to something reasonable.
The lower the ICP for the 140 tune, the better. Its especially designed to make lots of smoke. I do get better power out of the 80 on the top end though.
I definitley am not using the 140 smoke to it's full potential....short of BIG OIL & BIG STICKS.....what can I do? Also what else can I do to keep her cool at WOT IN 120 & 140???
Buy a Spearco IC, 4" exhaust if you havent already, a larger turbo!
Kris, your 1/8 mile times at Smokin has caused you to lose some of your credibility with me when it comes to power advice. Have you figured out what was wrong yet?
