Yep, I've said it before but it's a shame they don't realize that mechanical diesels are better, simplier and cheaper. Oh well their loss. My guess is that they pay someone to fix/work on/upgrade their trucks instead of doing it themselves, I guess that's fine if you can afford it and can find a mechanic who knows what he's doing and trust.

Well the Californians make fun of us Oregonians because we don't know how to pump our own gas when we go down there. But I figure that's just another reason NOT to go to California.
I'm sure if you drove around the "border cities" you'd see cars with Oregon plates on them with the drivers sitting in the car for hours waiting for the "attendant" to come out and fill their car up.

Hey seven more posts and I think you get e-mail and message privilages or something like that.

My brother moved there and asked me when I was going to come see him. I told him when he moved back into America somewhere. My brother finally moved back, but to Portland, which isn't a lot better but at least I can pack my gun there. If, as a law-abiding American my gun's not welcome I'll spend my "tourist money" elsewhere. There's too many criminals and nut jobs out there, I'm not gonna let me or my family get hurt or killed for lack of shootin' back! You surely see more nuts than I do if your a truck driver. Be careful out there!

I like fooling with the overly self important station attendants here. On a busy day, I jump out of my car as fast as I can run my card and attempt to pump my own gas or top it off after the pump shuts off before they get to me. If I suceed, I get a lecture about how I'm breaking the law and going to get them in trouble. I had one guy the other day tell me that I would go to prison for pumping my own. I said, "No, I'm pretty sure that's a misdemeanor that will get you in no more trouble than 10 over the speed limit." I notice a city cop pull up to the mini mart and I said, "Why don't you go ask him?" Which he did. The look of wonder on the cops face was priceless. like why are you asking me this again?

I can't pump my own at a public station, unless its a diesel. But I can go to the Pacific Pride cardlock and pump my own all day without a problem. I don't get it.
