Back again.

Howdy,

So I have made the great choice of keeping my 85 F250. I just love it too much to lose it.

Here is my problem. I have 5 out of 8 injectors that are leaking from the top. I think it is just the return lines, but I am unsure. Should I get a return line Kit and not worry about the injectors for now, or do I need to replace the injector?

It looks like the P.O. replaced the injectors in 1997. What should I do?

I'd just go for replacing the injector return lines. I had one leaking and replaced the return lines and havent had any more problems with hard starts or leaking fuel.
Cheaper then replacing the injectors at least.

On a related topic, are the injector return lines(o-rings, caps, and hoses) reuseable, or do you need to replace them when you change injectors?

LOL! Unless you want your hard starts and leaking fuel problems back you need to at least replace the o-rings.

The lines and caps should be OK if they aren't more than a couple of years old and you don't damage them getting them off...

How many miles are on the injectors? the return line caps and orings will fix your leak but if there are alot of miles on the injectors it wouldn't be too hard to change them while you are in there.
