found out some news on my truck today...

well i have one piston with a hole in it it is very pretty... and i can not post pics cuz i am not doing the work nor have i been there yet to see it... it actually has me sick.. but by the end of next week the guy said it should be back up and going... if all goes well... but today i took our company truck and pulled a triple axle trailer with 3 cars on it behind it and it just has a superchips programmer and i outpulled a dodge with a similar load on it up a very long hill... have no clue on egts for it has no guages... but i am sure i had her 1300 a couple of times for a quite a while... but other then that it pulled the load very easy.. and stopped it excellent.. with just the brake controller for 50 bucks at wally world...

PSD, How/what happened for you to ventilate a piston? I can't recall.

well this time it was not my truck... and the truck i run today is supposed to be off the road and junked very soon... maybe as soon as i get mine back... it is just a truck for me to get by while mine is out of commission... but they told me the truck i run today was about blowed up anyways... but seems to run good and strong... although alot of blue smoke comes from the exhaust...

it is a 94 or 95 powerstroke... the body is junk and it is pretty much wore out... everything is loose i think it has over 500,000 miles on it... hence to why it is going to the junk yard after i get done with it... it has a mile of slack in the steering... i think i might pull the motor and trans for parts and anything else that i think might still have some life left on it..

it will be done by next friday the mechanic said... so idk i wish i could go lookt at it right now but we have 2 of our dozers down... one the motor blowed on... (lost oil pressure) and another one will not even move (the final drive shaft broke) and i am supposed to stick around and help work on them... sitting on the steam genie (pressure washer) is comfortable... lol they never have needed me for anything yet...

and i have a bent push rod... i am guessing from contact with the piston... i think i am gonna let him completely overhaul it... new pistons and rings and anything else he thinks it needs... and yea he is a very trusted mechanic... so i am gonna tell him treat it as if it was his tomarr... (do whatever he would do if he was in the same shape)...
