yes i have a problem with a 1993 ford f-150 300-6 I started it last nite and it would not take the gas it would idle so I left it set for about an hour I notced gas driping down below the gas filler which it has 2 tanks the front tank I took the cap off and it just pushed fuel out full boar so I put the cap back on I never had this problem before is there a check valve between the back and front tanks I have a lot of back pressure a while ago I went out and took the cap off and it still wants to push gas out.It is the front tank that this is happening any help would be appreciated.

Are you running on the rear tank? It's pretty common for the fuel pump assemblies to to go out. There is a check valve in the assembly itself. There is also a switching valve for the two tanks. There was a recall on these, but not sure of the years. Do a search for "cross flow" problems.

thanks for the reply no it don't want to take the gas to good on either tank the front tank is pushing the gas out so i switched to the back tank not a lot of difference i seen there was a recall on this if it is still valid i don't know going to check it out.
