05 Tech Question

Hey Guys,
I have an 05 f-350 srw 6.0 6 speed with 41000 miles. I towed my first heavy trailer the other day and when in a hard pull mostly third gear and between 1000 and 2000 rpm my trucks starts jerking like it is missing but you can hear a coughing sound coming from probably the turbo. Also when i shut my truck off you can hear a grinding sound as the turbo winds down.The truck builds boost but is sluggish doing it and has little low end power pulling out.Any info or suggestions would be great. Thanks

Sounds like a turbo to me. My 03 did they same thing 4 times. It was the turbo everytime.

I would say you guys are right, it only does it under heavy acceleration or load. good thing its under warranty.
