5.4L Performance

I am wanting to put new exhaust on my 5.4L and was wondering what wopuld the difference be with headers, x pipe, and cherrybomb extreme mufflers with dual out exhaust over headers,hi flow cats, and cherry bomb extremes

the high flow cats will make the exhaust alot louder and may give you a little more hp

so headers and hi flow cats no x or h pipe ok im just wanting to experiment but i figured id ask and get some more advice

and x or H pipe will give it a deep tone, and less raspy, wont take away a whole lot of hp.

get 2 magnaflow high flow cats,magnaflow muffler and it will sound great

^ Agreed! That will give you the best sound. It wont pop, cackle, drone or sound like a chainsaw. It will be pretty refined and a fair amount louder then stock without being obnoxious.

just adding a magnaflow muffler to my truck it sounds pretty good..i think im ordering some highflow cats pretty soon for it,just waitin on some money

If you go true duals, you will want and H pipe if possible, it will help build a little torque.
Get a couple of hi-flow cats from Bear River Converters - Wholesale distributors of catalytic converters (I have them on my Mustang) with Magnaflow Mufflers.

With true duals,,long tube headers/high flow cats/ X pipe and mufflers of your choosing.
You will pick up 30 HP and 35 torque!
