I wouldn't knock myself out over the resistance of the wires. I know some on the board would recomend going to a conventional electrode motorcraft plug, though. You might be off a tooth or 2 with your dist drive gear. But near as I can tell, you've yet to check the wires at night, which will definitely show cross-fire.

 

True, I haven't checked them out in the dark.

It completely slips my mind.

I saw a vid on youtube where a guy spritzed his cables in the dark with a water bottle to increase any arcing for better visibility.

I was surprised to say the least at how much was jumping.

 

Replace dis, truck runs tip top.

I guess it's not a good idea when resettin roll pins to lay the dis on the tollbox and beat them in with a 3lb hammer.

Lesson learned.

Follow-up, truck runs excellant.

Well except for the brakes, A/c, leaky front axle seal, non-working tank sending unit, cracked exhuast manifold, and broke tailgate.

But she goes down the road good!!!!!
