Bellhousing pattern

I have a 1996 Bronco with 302 with E4OD, and I heard that a 96 351 doesnt share the same bellhousing pattern, is this true or not, I have heard the opposite

Both small block, therefor same pattern.

Bellhousing pattern

you can ckeck if you can reach the top two tranny bolts. If you can touch them at the same time with one hand (middle finger on one and thumb on the other), then you have a Small block pattern. If they are too far apart, then you have a Big block pattern, like the 351 Modified. Good luck, John
