My father ran out to get some gas at 11am... and proceeded to call me in a frantic and told me to get to my truck (thirsty 08 V10) and hit the Sunoco at the entrance to the interstate (less than a mile from where I work). I rolled to the pump to find $3.29 gas.... and a station attendant who I beat by 20 seconds waiting for me to finish to jack the prices up the twenty cents I referenced above.....

3.59 for regular this morning when I went past, diesel 4.29.

They usually change the prices around lunchtime, so I bet I'll see something even worse when I start my drive home in 4 hours.

We're almost $5. P/gallon here in Vancouver BC, Canada... I paid $4.76 yesterday. $40 got me less than 1/2 a tank.

I'm starting to like the higher prices. My boss has changed our hours to 4 - 10 hour days from 5 - 8 hours days to save everyone a trip to the office once a week. With fishing coming up I'll take 3 day weekends all summer long.
