Really busted '96 Exploder 5.0 AWD
It started out with a rough idle, then one morning I come out and the truck won't start. Infact the fuel pump won't even prime. I thouight I'd diagnosed it down to a bad pump, but I've pulled the tank and swapped the pump (everything is still on the ground at this point) and I'm still not hearing the pump prime, so I've restarte ALL of my diagnosgtic tests.
I've swapped the fuel pump relay with the one from my g/f's 97 6 banger.
Her car starts and runs; mine won't
I moved relays in my car; the WOT A/C relay and the fuel pump relay
Still no luck with priming.
I checked fuse #3 (20 amp).
It looks good visually and even my fluke meter shows its conductive
I did notice ~ 10.4 volts on the circuit when I removed the fuse (the voltage reading is consistant if I have the car in the "on" position or "off.
Fuel safety shutoff inertia switch
Looks good - I even pushed on it to see if I could reset it, but its already "reset".
The "you're not getting fuel light on the dash is NOT on
Checked computer codes
Nothing shows up.
I'm desperate for answers and I'll try to check back every half hour just incase anyone who's on at this hour has any ideas.
Thanks in advance to anyone with ideas.
