96 explorer fuel pump problems

96 explorer fuel pump problems
Hi,
I hope ya'll can help me. This problem is a puzzle to alot of people. I have a 96 ford explorer xlt. My huband changed the fuel pump, relays, and the filter. He checked the reset fuel switch. It ran for 1 trip then go to start it again and the pump won't come on. Put it on the computer and the only thing that it shows is that the EGR sensor was out. Please help. We appreciate any ideas on what we can do!!!
