Anyone try the Dashhawk or the Scangauge for their 2008 Superduty v 10 yet?

Well, I called MSD about the Dashhawk and they said "it should work". I have not called Scangauge yet. I really don't want to be the guinea pig.

I just got a Scangauge II

And it seems to do everything it's supposed to do with my 2006 V-10 in an E-350. Very interesting to watch. These engines warm up very quickly and go to closed loop right away.

I got a Scan Gauge this week from Mike at MGT. All the functions that I really wanted are up and running on my '08.

Rep points to Mmaxed for reporting back!

Sounds like the Scan Gauge works for '08...

hehe, thanks Art. I almost forgot about trying to get dw66 to be the crash test dummy. When my poor old weak mind remembered it, I decided I should post.

BTW, Mike at MGT is great. Prompt delivery and when I had questions that he didn't know the answers to, he said so and pointed me to those that did. My kind of guy.

I finally got my Dashhawk. It does work on the '08's and it does everything I want it to do. I have it set for trans temp, engine coolant temp and intake air temp. i decided on the Dashhawk because it was a little bigger than the scangauge and easier to see.

They read values from the computer instead of reinventing the wheel.

You can get coolant temp, MAF flow, all sorts of different things from the computer.

Basically, it's a gauge that can read almost anything the computer knows about, and display it.
