What are your numbers

Just trying to see if the truck is running about right. I am getting crap for fuel millage (13mpg) and just checking everything to make sure it is up to par. Anyways on the highway with the cruise set at 70mph I'm at 2000 rpm 6lb of boost and 625-650 on the pyro. Does this sound about right? 3.73 rear end everything else is in my sig I think.

Your numbers seem real close to mine at 75 MPH with the same the exact same setup Dp-tuner, MBRP exhaust everything but the tank mod and wicked wheel.

The bummer is before the winter fuel came in I was getting 16mpg on the interstate. I'm not sure if they are still selling the winter fuel here in IL or if I need to change my air and fuel filters.

Get away from that diesel kleen crap and do your fuelsystem a favor! Get FPPF's "Lubricity + Fuel Power". I swear by it. Like I was telling Dan (Kwikk) the other week. In both of my diesel vehicles, when using it, it is like a 20hp setting on a flip chip. I cannot stand to drive my vehicles without it in the tanks. Just my .02

I get it at my local diesel mechanic. I see it all the time at the big truck stops. Petro, Flying J etc. Just for comparison reasons, I have run stanadyne, DK, Howes, Lucas Upper cylinder, just about everything. THis is what I settled on. Not only that, it was found to be the second best additive right behind optilube (not counting bio) on this study Lubricity Additive Study Results - Diesel Place. If I do not run it, especially in my 06 VW diesel, I have horrible turbo lag and suffer about 2 mpg. In the truck it gets me a constant 17mpg with 3.73 gears and a smooth engine/idle I cannot describe without posting a soundclip. Also, I never overdose, you do not have to, it works as is. Just the best stuff. I am so picky when it comes to this stuff. My wife thought I was crazy until one time i was rushing at the pump, did not put any in. She ran the car the next day and swore the e-brake was sticking. Then she realized why I am so dead set on getting this stuff.

Lubricity +fuel power= FPPF

and since it contains "fuel power" read up on this = FPPF

then see a study= FPPF

In town I am getting about the same 12-13mpg. On the 540 mile trip down to Gatlinburg last week I was at about 16.7 at or around 75mph. After Jody re-flashed my chip with his updated tunes on the way home I was a full mpg better and was running 78-80 most of the way home. Rampage noticed that I have an up pipe leak on the passenger side too, so I think when I go with the bellowed pipes I may pick up a bit more(here's hoping).

Sorry y'all, but ya don't even want to hear mine. You've got to stay under 1800 rpm, or don't complain. Simple as that.

Well I wouldn't complain other then the fact I used to get 16-17 driving the same way I always have and has just been a steady decline and has now been staying at 13 no matter how I drive. I can drive like a bat outta hell or like my grandpa and it dosen't change mpg.

I got my Dp Tuner last summer in June or July and when I was at Strokin' this past week, Jody said my tunes were outdated. He had better versions of the ones I was running. He said he gave me Diane's tunes. She Dyno'd at 326hp I think and close to 700ft/lbs of torque with a similar set-up to mine.

Staying under 1800rpm is so boring I can't stand it. If I wanted to drive like a limousine driver with a bucket of water on my lap I would drive something else.

You have got to have some things going on. I would check your up pipes for leaks, check all your intercooler boots are tight, and check your EBPV tube is not clogged. I bet one or more of those things are going on.

Boost seems a tad high at 70, though. Mine sits around 3-4ish at 70 normally. The only time it's above 5 is if I'm going up a hill or overpass.

I get 15-16 not being nice normally, but I'm about to fill up again and I should be around 480 miles on ~29 gallons (16.55 mpg). This is after I got my tranny done and new tunes from Tony Wildman. I seem to be getting a hair better mileage now!!
