Will a crook go cut out your back window out of your mustang while its in your front drive way in the middle of the night. Wouldn't it been a lot easier to take the whole damn car? This happened last night to my girlfriends mother. She has had bad luck with cars lately, the thing weird is, there is a mustang on the other block that has its back window missing, so maybe in a week or less lets see if they have there self a new back window.
I didn't get to talk to her mom directly but her car is a 2002 mustang convertible. Is the back window glass or plastic beings its a convertible, and what other mustangs will fit in the place of it?

not sure about the 2000s but i know the 98 is plastic and when they switched in 99 was it?? they changed styles so i dont think it would fit. but from 93 to 98 im pretty sure they are the same.
now that i think about it you can get glass instead of plastic but those are after market im pretty sure.

They probably had an order for a window. I suppose that if you have the tools, it's not a big job.
Plus, once they got the window, they were clean. No one driving a stolen Mustang around. Auto parts are big business.
