I need a little help here. A few months ago when I bought my 53 F-100 the guy I bought it from also has a 49 Chevy half ton. He actually wanted almost three times what I got the F-100 for. Eventually he got so low on the price I bought the Chevy also. At the time it was my thinking that I could eventually sell the Chevy and use the profit to buy stuff for my 53 F-100. I do have the Chevy for sale on local advertising sources as well as Craig's list. I have no doubt that eventually I'll sell it but I think it might speed that process up a bit if I could get onto some Chevy truck related forums like this one for Fords. I'm not anti-Chevy, I just don't have any interest in fixing it up. At my age and speed I'll be lucky to get the F-100 done. Of course I am quite aware that it is possible that I may end up having to at least do some preliminary work on the Chevy to enhance the selling price and make it more attractive to buyers.
So, if you guys know some good online forums for old Chevy trucks let me know here or by PM. I need to convert this asset to Ford parts. Thanks.
The stovebolt forum is a good place, nice bunch of people over there.
