i still havent got my truck alighned but i was wondering i have an old tire i took off my s10 on the front of the truck and a brand new tire, the old tire looks like /--- slanted while the new is straight. is this because its a tire off another truck that wore differently?

No, it's because you need an alignment.

For proper alignment you should have identical size tires/wheels on front.

Same size on all four if you want it done properly.

The important thing is to have the stance and the tires the way they are going to permanently be before you get it aligned. The rear tires can be larger, but they need to stay that way during and after the alignment.
