im ok in this situation, i choose to go to the pump 3 to 4 times a week, i usually drop in 20-25 bucks at a time.

i try to live a stress free life style, $70 at the pump isnt contributing to that

hey remember when the gallons used to almost keep up with the dollars on the screen at the pump? them were the days

I've never heard of the $75 limit. I never buy that much gas anyway so it doesn't really matter to me

The stations here have $75 limits, but supposedly only for some of the credit cards -- like Master and Visa of course.

However, supposedly if you do the pay inside routine, you don't have that issue. That would seem to go with the pre-authorization that others have mentioned. Since you don't sign anything, they probably do hold transactions to some limit.

gas here in North Vancouver BC Canada, is $1.28 p/liter. For me to fill both tanks I need to gets second mortgage... my front tank is 68 liters, and my rear tank is 60 liters. $163.84 to fill both tanks..... Man I need to buy a Suzuki Swift at these prices.... and they say to expect $1.50 (or more) p/liter by summer. for those of you that dont know the Metric system. 3.78 liters = 1 US Gallon. $1.50 p/liter = $5.67 p/gallon.

It costs me about $140 to fill up my SD, and it never passes a gas station it doesn't like

I'm always weary to fill up all the way because of thieves and vandals. It's too easy to pop off a locking gas cap with a blade screwdriver. Also, one time I came out to find my Galaxie sitting in a giant puddle of fuel. I get underneath to find the rubber fuel hose that runs from the pump outlet to the steel line is sliced in half! I lost almost an entire tank of premium.

I guess I'm lucky that my truck only holds 16.9 gallons.

I usually fill up once a month and it's usually around 8 to 12 gallons.....at $4.05/gallon.

I could drive around for gas that's .15 cheaper, but then I'd burn up the difference driving to that station and back.

I know here in Utah they have limted on cards to.

$49.00 on debit cards
$75.00 on major creidt cards

I just go to the stations I now and they start the pump for me, or they just hold my card tell I am done.

BTY with the trailer hook-up I am 42 feet long, I don't think I could get away tat fast in a drive-off.
