like the title says, i'm finaly getting around to installing my alarm. it actualy seems easyer than i origonaly thought. so far, i only have the accesories wired up... horn installed, wires ran/loomed, LED installed, and valet switch hidden in an uber cool spot.
the ONLY thing i'm worried about as of now is this: how does a starter kill relay work, and how would i go about installing it? it has four wires: one that goes to ignition power, one that goes just to the brain, a green wire that goes to one end of the starter wire from the ignition wire, and a black wire that goes to the other end. i don't know which wire out of the green and black goes where.
any one ever install these? or should i be alright if i don't hook it up?
I don't know what to tell you DCRB..... as for the iginition kill, I don't think Aero's are high on the list of stolen cars, more than likely someone will break in to just steal your stuff, not the van.
for the most part, it is. the only obvious things are my door spearks, subs, and amp (visualy). the rest are subtly hidden in the factory confines.
in other news, i got my alarm installed (mostly) tonight. my friend came over and helped me sort out the wiring stuff, and i didn't end up installing the starter kill relay. however, i did install everything else, and found a problem: my doors wont lock with the alarm. even worse is that the test light didn't even register that a signal was going through the wires. but i did find them behind the kick panel.
one other minor problem that concerns me is that my dash lights all flash w my exterior lights.... that's bad too right?
