Compression in stock 302

My 1990 302 EFI has 140,000 miles. Compression is 150 in #6, and all the rest are 140.

Does anybody know what this number is for a new or rebuilt engine?

Is 140 a good number?

How is your power?? I have 1989 F150 302 with 109,000 on it, I had the compression checked it has 125-130. I do alright till I pull my camper, then I can tell a difference. Lucky I only pull the camper about 15 miles to the campground. I thinking of having a rebuild installed at the end of the camping season. I can't afford a newer truck and the truck is in good shape otherwise.

Your numbers look ok for a high mileage engine. My recently rebuilt 302 has about 165-170.What you like to see is all the numbers pretty much the same within 10-15% of each other. If you wind up with one or two really low then you've got problems.
