Rear diff. help
Can anyone help decipher the numbers on the tab of the rear diff.
Here it is. s 411 b
0 10 2 oko6
I think there is one more number at the start of each row that is partially covered the the bolt.
Also what do I need to do to lower my lift from 10" to 8 or 6?
My wife had surgery on her knee and now has a very hard time getting in it.

Your truck may also have spring hangers that could go back to stock. I have a spare set of stock ones if you need them. No charge, free for the taking

Are you in OD at that RPM!? If you are only in third then it appears you may have 4.56's.
If you are in OD then you have 6.75's...a nonexistent gear ratio....or you have problems elsewhere.

With 4.56's in OD (.72) cruising at 65mph on your 37's, you should be turning 1938 (+/-). in 3rd (OD locked out 1:1) then you'd be at 2692.
Even if you had 5.13's you only be at 2180 in OD. They don't get much steeper than that or the pinion would be too weak (small).
Something has to be off somewhere. It may be your speedo or even your tach. Do you have access to a GPS to verify your speed?

Gears
I'll be driving it tomorrow and re-try it and let you know. The vehicle doesn't feel like 4:56's are in it. I think it still has stock 3:73's at least that's how it feels when just starting from a stopped postion. When I have my 33' travel trailer connected it barely pulls it from a stopped positon.
