new guy with old delamination problem
I am at my wits end. I hope you can help. I have replaced 2 wiring harness, 1 fuel pump and two gas tanks on a 2001 f450 diesel dump. I bought brand new. last issue bought new gas tank 11.5 months ago and 75 miles over warranty. Dealer would not replace tank. I am tired of hearing its a fuel problem, all the other guys that gas up where I do are not having the same problem. Radiator place resealed gas tank for $150.00 lots less than the four grand i have wasted. Please direct me where to go at ford where they will at least say "sorry". I would like to start a list of people who have replaced tanks for all the wrong reasons. what really got me fired up was when I took it in two weeks ago for what I thought was a warranty issue, the dealer charged me diagnostic fee. $200 I feel helpless and I know this is a bigger issue than they let on. thanks for your help and letting me vent.

Try here: Super Duty And Heavy Duty - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums I haven't heard of that problem but if anyone has, the members here have.
