E 350 Gas tank problems. Strange./FL
I have a Ford E 350 gas 1994 Motor home. The fuel tank won't take gas.
I've removed the rubber hose fill tube and looking down the tube opening looks like there is a blockage of some type of metal. I guess I just could be looking at part of the inside of the tank but it is stopping gas from going into the tank.
I have removed the vapor line also and when I blow into it, it seems like I'm pressurizing the fuel tank.
The vapor tube is open.
Is there a check valve at the end of the filler pipe? I'm talking about the pipe that is welded to the top of the gas tank and not any of the rubber hoses. They are all off.
I have been fighting this for two days and it about has the best of me.
I'm old, I'm tired, my body aches and I smell like gas. Good thing I don't smoke anymore.
Anybody have any ideas as I'm all out.
Thanks again,
Gene

Sorry to hear about your Motor Home problem, it`s not something that you really need to have happen. Drop into the General Automotive Discussion forum, hopefully someone will chime in with the answer: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum135/ I don`t believe that there is check valve at the end of the filler pipe but I`ve been wrong before. There has to be an obstruction in there somewhere.
Check in your local FL chapter and see if anyone with a Motor Home has any ideas in there: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum116/
