Oil Change

For a routine oil change on a 1979 Ford F100, 2 wheel drive, automatic with a 351M, how many quarts of oil does it take? Thanks,

6 us qts with filter

or 5 Imperial quarts (6 litres)

Be sure to position the drain pan around hte crossmember...2wd trucks make messy oil changes.

That's why I welded in a front drain plug on mine before I put the engine in

Ya... I welded in a oil heater as well.



I barely have to crawl under the truck to drain the oil this way
