I can't remember if I shared this with you guys or not, but, if not, it needs to be shared.
I was traveling South on 50th Street West here in the high desert when I saw a fairly new Chevy Duelly being towed by a 78 F250. I couldn't resist the moment and pulled my 77 F250 up alongside the 78 and blew the horn. When the driver of the 78 looked over I gave him the thumbs up with a big smile on my face.
I almost caused an accident. When the driver of the 78 looked over and saw what I was driving he started laughing so hard he almost lost control of his vehicle.
When we were redoing our garden we took my truck to pick up a ton of dirt. We got there and this guy was lining his new chevy with tarps and took a tiny load of dirt. He thought we were NUTS for taking a ton of dirt in the back.. It was pretty funny
When I got my first Ford Truck. A 79 F150 Ranger with a 302 C4 trans. I had a friend to bet me I couldn't pull their old Tractor out of the pasture since it broke down.I backed up to it and he chained it up to my frame and I got dinner and a 6 pack.
