Hey guys,
I just had this small unfortunate even happend, which happends to be my front drivers tire was slashed ... I also unfortunately do now have a spare for this set of tires because I upgraded them and the oe spare is a diff size ! Anyways, I figured I would just get a set of rims and tires together, definately cheaper together and will help fuel economy (was/am using oe steel wheels)
So I just wanted to ask you guys what you thought of the Pro Comp Extreme A/T tires with the 40k warranty ? also if you if these would be eligable in Canada for the warranty ?
2nd question is I was thinking of going with Pro Comp Xtreme Alloy 8069 wheels, though I wanted to make sure I wouldnt have a fitment issue. I wanted to grab them in 18x9 with an backspacing of 4.75". The tire size is 325/60/18 roughly 33.5" tall and 13.8" wide ..
any other comments or suggestions please feel free !
I am running the 325/65-18 Extreme A/T's and they are a great tire. I have almost 35k mi. on them and they have alot of tread still on them so they will easily go over 40k mi.
Your choice for rim size is correct but the 325 is a pretty wide tire if you don't have a lift kit. They might rub a little here and there.
On my 07 with the plow package I run 325/60R18s on 18x8.5s with 5.14" Backspacing without any rubbing at all. Gives it a nice aggressive stance as well.
My truck is an 2003 F250 XL w/plow/tow package ... This truck, i dont know why, seems to sit higher up then any other out there ... at its stock form i should mention, its very odd !
Greg, have you done any offroading or played in the snow at all ?? I do snow plow, and also rock out in my orchard/ trails with once and a while ! that was my only concern, I was looking for a tire a little more aggressive then the Duel Revo A/T's (using @ the moment) I got about 35k mi on them ...
Im not sure if there is a better tire out there for a good wear: traction ratio, being that it lasts a decent amoun but at the same time is an agressive tire which will keep me out of trouble so to speak
I don't get into the snow very often so I can't give you feedback on that, but on the street they are quiet and ride very nice, and on hard dirt and in the sand they do a great job!

I have the 35 x 12.5 / 18's on my 07 i really like them & they are wearing very good. They seem pretty good in snow. Theres some picks in my gallery of when i got them, pics are kinda crappy, they look way better when the truck is clean. I bought mine in Canada but i never asked the guy about warranty, i just figured if they're offering it they have to come at least close to lasting that long.
