Hello my name is Joel. I live in N. Michigan and me and my girlfriend just bought our first off road toy. It's a 94 explorer xlt, that we paid 1000 bucks for. I'm totally new to working on vehichles i spend most of my time in a collar shirt but on the weekends I love to play in the mudd. I have started doing small things myself, common things like changeing spark plugs and wires(broke one off in the cylinder $65 bucks to a mechanic). Installing after market cd player (know one new what harness so 3 of them later and $30 extra), and currently the exploder is in my garage Im draining the transmission oil and changing the tranny gasket and filter(cant wait to see what probloms I will run into with this project). Everything is stock right now and in about 2 weeks I'm gonna be atempting a 3 inch body lift to fit some knarly 33's and replacing the elec. hubs. Cant seem to get any pics on here have nice ones of me and my buddy from last night stuck for 6 hours in a mudd pit. 4 trucks later I got out. Hell of an adventure!lol plus would like to post before and after of my truck. I will mess with it later. Hit me up need lots of new friends on here for good advice and to share in my misadventures.
