depends what you mean by package. the edge is one closed tin can, you plug it in, it works most of the time (read a few threads where things went haywire) and you're done. SCT on the other hand is a more open solution, you can mess around with a lot more stuff; you can fine tune the a/f ratio, which is critical if you want to do more mods down the road that would alter that. downside is you have to know what you're doing or take it to a dyno shop and let them tune it. there are pre-baked tunes for the SCT tuners out there, but if you're not gonna mess around with it, might as well get the edge.
only thing I have against the edge, they apply the same tune to everyone out there. Not 2 trucks out there are identical and react the same way to things.

I have an edge and I'm happy with it on level 2. However, if I would have to do it again, I would go with the Gryphon. Basically a edge look alike, but more programming options for your specific truck. i.e. if you have changed your exhaust or intake, they will modify the program for your truck. Unless you want to pay to have your truck dyno tuned..

My Diablosport Predator is currently doing its magic in its third truck and I have been totally satisfied. I believe the current price of the Predator makes it very competitive.
