Drop links

I had my sway bar drop links replace 40 k ago by the stealer. (180 bucks) I can hear the same thing again. So i assume it is the drop links again. So my ? is is it better to replace them with new or try to install the poly bushing i have been reading about. Are the poly bushing hard to get in because i don't have a press to press them into place etc. Or can they be ordered new with the good bushings. thanks jeff

I highly recommend you install the poly bushing..last longer and give you far better handling...there only 46 bucks for the sway bar kit...
you will need to find your kit..this lik will bring you to the early 99 kit..

Your noise is probably coming from the part that attaches to the axle... Take off the 2-15mm nuts and wrap a bunch of black electrical tape around the rubber bushing to tighten it up in the bracket... Bolt it back on and do the same on the other side... Take it for a drive and see if your clunk is gone.. I'll put money on that it is gone.... That way you know if it is the drop links or just the sway bar bushing !!!

Hope that helps ya out !!! Russ
