I have heard that there are some differences?
but I can not tell you what they are,
if you are thinking about converting it to 4x4?
anything can be done if you want to put the time and money into it
I guess I should also ask about the front axle...and this and that. I might get it as a parts truck if it's in good shape though. '79 F250 4x2, askin' $500, good shape, needs engine. gonna go look at it right now.
well you can never have too many or enough spare parts!
I buy everything I can when I see it, if I have the money that is
if the truck looks good, buy it and drive it.
then save up the parts to convert it, just find a 4x4 with a good running gear
at least you will be driving what you love
I love 4x4's but if I came across a 4x2 I would not hesitate to buy it
if for nothing more it would be a good source of parts
Thanks a lot guys. Guess I ain't gettin' a 4x2 anyways, unless down the road, for a parts truck.
Man I hate it when people say it's in such good shape, when it's not at all. That F250 was full of rust. I checked out another one about 20 minutes out of town 'cause the guy was sayin' all this stuff 'bout how good it is. What a joke.
