Well our Dollar is at record highs and our gas is still alot higher then yours, about $4.50/U.S. Gallon here, or $5.50 / Canadian gallon, so dollar value means nothing here. My view is that as long as politicians have expense accounts and we pay for thier Gov. car and thier gas, that they really don't give a crap what fuel costs us. Take away all thier PERKS and accounts and you would see more being done about the fuel costs and there would be a big jump in exploration. At 100 dollars a barrell they money they are making off the taxes is staggering alone, so why would they want to lower prices.?? As long as we keep paying , they will keep right on raising the price. Rich get richer and the working class gets boned.
