eh, taxes are never quite right, doesn't seem to matter what it is... but i got a nice 1700-and some change back this year, which i was plenty happy about. just wish it was more cos i need every penny right now. blah.

I finally did mine tonight and e-filed everything. I owe the feds about a couple of hundred and the state a little more. That's even after having more withheld this year. The state always seems to bite more.
I also did taxes for a couple of disabled folks that I help and they both get a little back and will also qualify for the rebate which will help them out a lot.

There is a link you can follow and it will tell you what you are getting back. I don't understand where they get the odd numbers from, according to everything I read you get XXX for married and XXX per kid but somehow it ends up bieng an odd number?? Only the IRS can add $300 and $300 and come up with $708 lol.
They owe you $300 each for two people, so that adds up to $508.

We sent our stuff to the CPA last Monday. That's the longest I've ever waited, usually mail it end of February or first of March. Takes a little while to get all the business stuff organized and I procrastinate....guess CPA is either done with the annual rush, or we're special
